Spring Capsule Wardrobe ft. Gucci
I hope y'all are having a lovely Friday <3
Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite items for spring. I am a big fan of "capsule wardrobes" that include a vast array of mix-and-match items. These wardrobes make for easy coordination and outfit creation. I find that having a large assortment of neutral-toned attire and accessories makes getting ready for work in the mornings easier. Additionally, capsule wardrobes can be convenient when packing for a vacation because one can pack fewer items and the items will all blend together into different unique combinations <3 I usually wear A LOT of black in my wardrobe (especially in the fall and winter months), but during the spring I like to wear lighter colored clothing--specifically cream and white lace dresses, blouses, etc. I find it so refreshing, especially after many months of being bundled up in darker colors and heavier fabrics.
In celebration of this week being the first week of spring, I have been inspired by lighter colored palettes and have created my outfits around this bag by Gucci. I purchased this a few years ago while I was on vacation in Florence, Italy. I toured the Gucci Museum ("Gucci Museo") and bought this bag in the accompanying boutique. If any of you are ever in Florence, I highly recommend you take a stroll through this museum--it is gorgeous and includes many of Gucci's original items as well as many items that have been worn to red carpet events by A-list celebrities :) At the end of the tour, you can even stop by the cafe downstairs for a light dessert and a cappuccino <3

Another one of my spring favorites is this pair of Gucci rain boots. The neutral color of the boots and the classic Gucci monogram print makes this pair of shoes versatile!
My first outfit of this "look book" is equestrian-style. I would say my signature look is rather preppy and I am a big fan of wearing boots and blazers. This outfit would be the perfect look for a raining day.

Switching out the boots, one can throw on a pair of nude heels and grab a light clutch for a day out shopping or for grabbing brunch with some friends :)

For a chilly spring day, one can switch out the heels and blazer and instead pair a khaki raincoat and embellished flats for a put-together look.
|Denim: Abercrombie & Fitch|
My favorite brand of denim is Abercrombie and Fitch. I usually wear lighter colored denim in the spring and summer months.
Going along with the trend of lighter-denim, I sometimes like to pair this light-colored denim jacket over a dress for a casual look. You can pair it with the Gucci tote bag and a pair of nude heels for a perfect summer date night look.

This dress is from the brand One Clothing and is a lightweight sweater-dress. The fabric is quite comfortable and the material is thick enough that it keeps one warm on chillier spring days.
Another one of my favorite spring dresses is this cream lace dress by H&M. I purchased this dress years ago in Paris when I was studying abroad, and have worn this dress countless times since. I have been very impressed with the quality of the dress as well as the versatility of it.
Similar to the above outfits, one can make the outfit more casual by pairing a light-colored denim jacket with nude heels.
For rainy spring days, switch out the heels for a neutral colored pair of rain boots! :)
Here is a closer look at the H&M dress.
These are my four staple jackets in my spring capsule wardrobe.

Lastly, these are my go-to spring accessories <3
I hope you found some inspiration from this post. Have a lovely weekend!
